Rise above rain clouds

Mt. Fuji, 2014

Not a drop in the sky. At least for the first half hour. Then it sprinkled. Drizzled. All other descriptive words for rain. Not quite a downpour, but steady enough to soak through a rain coat/pants, and permanently damage a camera. Winds started to howl. Stopped on occasion to avoid getting tipped over. It continued for hours.

At times, you just can’t wait out bad weather. Just keep going. Fight for each step forward, and upward. Even when the path zigs before it zags. Just move. When you least expect it, the rain will die down. The winds will calm.

You didn’t just wait for the rain to stop. You went above it entirely… That’s a metaphor I think.
